Our Story & Approach
An Open Letter from Our Founder
When Izba began in 2016, it wasn't built on a perfect business plan — it was built to solve a problem we kept seeing: brilliant founders with world-class ideas were being held back by operational gaps.
Before that, I worked at Unilever and thought I'd retire there. I loved the work: structured systems, clear roles, global scale. But I wanted to be closer to the front lines — where decisions are faster, stakes are higher, and you can feel the impact of your work every day.
The jump into startups was eye-opening. In large corporations, you can lean on process and infrastructure. In startups, there's no playbook — and every decision is personal. I realized quickly that my role wasn't to say "you can" or "you can't." It was to help founders understand the trade-offs, see the options, and choose the best path for their vision.
Since then, our team has grown to combine the discipline of Fortune 500 operations with the adaptability of startup life. We've worked with over 100 brands across industries and continents, helping them start, scale, exit, and integrate — and always with one goal in mind: leaving them stronger than we found them.
Izba exists for founders who are building something worth buying — and for the investors and acquirers who believe in them. We're here to work with you, side by side, so your company's next chapter is even better than the last.
See you out there,
Aaron Alpeter
